“ارے آپ اتنی جلدی………”
اس کی سخت نگاہوں کی کرم فرمائی تھی جو اسکا انمہاک ٹوٹا اسے دیکھا جھٹ کھڑی ہوئی۔ دوپٹہ پھسل کر گرنے کو تھا بمشکل کہنی اڑا کر سنبھالا۔
“دماغ خراب ہوا تھا جو آگیا یہ کوئی وقت ہے مہندی لگانے کا۔”
تڑخ کر کہتارہ آگے بڑھ گیا۔
“انہیں کیا ہوا اور مہندی لگانے کا بھی کوئی وقت ہوتا ہے کیا، یہ آج پہلی بار سن رہی ہوں۔ “
“میں دیکھتی ہوں۔”
وہ ہمت کر کے اس کے پیچھے ہوئی۔
“آپ……آپ کی طبیعت ٹھیک ہے؟”
وہ بیڈ پر دونوں ہاتھوں میں سر تھامے بیٹھا تھا۔ وہ سامنے جا کھڑی ہوئی۔
“تم سے مطلب تم مہندیاں لگواؤ بس۔”
وہ شدید بے زار ہو تھا۔
“کیا ہو گیا ہے آپ کو مہندی تو مینا نے زبردستی لگا دی ہے میں تو لگوا بھی نہیں رہی تھی۔”
وہ کہہ رہی تھی
“پلیز اسٹاپ اٹ ایڈیومی الون۔ “
اسنے اس کی وضاحت بھی پوری نہ سنی نیم دراز ہو کر بازو آنکھوں پر رکھ لیا۔
“میرے سر میں اس قدر شدید درد ہے اور تم میرا سر کیا خاک دباو گئی تم تو چائے تک نہیں بنا کر دے نہیں سکتی ہو۔”
اصل تکلیف مہندی لگے ہاتھوں کی لگی تھی زرقم نے ہاتھ دیکھے پھرواش روم کی جانب دوڑ لگائی۔ پورا نل کھول کر رگڑ رگڑ کر مہندی چھڑائی دو منٹ میں واپسی ہوئی ابھی پاس بیٹھنے ہی گئی تھی کہ وہ جھٹکے سے اٹھا۔
“خبردار ہاتھ مت لگانا پہلے ہی میرا سر پھٹا جا رہا ہے اس پر یہ مہندی کی خوشبو……. آف جاؤ یہاں ہے دماغ نا خراب کرو میرا۔”
وہ روہانسی ہوگئی۔
“پلیز ایزد میں ہاتھ دھو کر آئی ہوں یہ دیکھیں۔”
سامنے ہاتھ پھیلائے۔ سرخ سرخ مہندی کی چھب دکھلاتی گلابی ہتھیلیاں انتا لکش نظارہ……اس نے نظر بھی نا ڈالی۔
“خوشبو پھر بھی آرہی ہے۔ میں نے کہاہے تا جاؤ فورا اٹھو۔”
وہ دروازے کی جانب اشارہ کر رہا تھا۔
