پانی لا کر اٹھنے لگی تو اس نے ہاتھ بڑھا کر بازو کھینچ لیا تھا۔

“س لیے کہ وہ آپ کی بیوی تھی۔”
اس نے رخ موڑ کر شکستہ انداز میں کہا۔
“پھر تم کون ہو؟”
بیماری کے دوران آپ کا تکلف ختم ہو گیا تھا۔ ۔
“ملازمہ جسے آپ کی بہن گھر اور گھر کے سامان کی دیکھ بھال اور آپ کی خدمت کے لیے لائی ہیں۔عام ملازموں کے درمیان مجھے یہ اعزاز حاصل ہے کہ آپ کا نام ملا ہے مجھے اور کوئی فرق نہیں ہے۔”
