وہ تلخی سے کہتی بیڈ سے اٹھنے لگی تھی کہ ہارون نے اس کا ہاتھ سختی سے تھام لیا تھا۔
“شہر بانو آپ کی اس بد گمانی اور خفگی کی وجہ سے میں اتنے دن حویلی نہیں آیا، مجھے پتا ہے کہ آپ کو مجھ سے چڑ ہو گی، مجھ پہ بار بار غصہ آئے گا، جس کی وجہ سے میرا موڈ بھی آف ہو گا۔ تو اس سے بہتر تھا کہ ہم لوگوں کا سامنا ہی نہ ہوتا، لیکن ایک انسان اپنے گھر سے کتنی دیر دور رہ سکتا ہے۔ میں بھی آج چلا آیا، آپ کی خفگی اور بد گمانی مٹانے کے ارادے سے۔”
وہ اس کا ہاتھ نرمی سے دبا رہا تھا۔
“اونہہ…”بدگمانی مٹانے کے ارادے سے جس طرح آپ اپنے گھر سے دور نہیں رہ سکتے تھے، اسی طرح میں بھی نہیں رہ سکتی، میرا بھی دل چاہتا ہے اپنوں سے ملنے کو اپنے گھر جانے کو سب کو دیکھنے کے لیے میں بھی پڑتی ہوں۔”
وہ دبے لہجے میں چیخ کر کہتی اپنا ہاتھ چھڑانے گئی۔
“میں آپ کو اپنوں سے ملنے سے کبھی نہ روکتا اگر ان کے عزائم اچھے ہوتے، اگر وہ آپ کو دوبارہ میرے پاس آنے دیتے ہیں آپ کا جانا تھوڑی دیر کے لیے تو افورڈ کر سکتا ہوں، مگر ہمیشہ کے لیے نہیں۔“
اس نے نفی میں گردن ہلاتے ہوئے کہا تھا۔
“میں آپ کے ساتھ نہیں رہنا چاہتی۔”
