تعریف کرتے ہوئے وہ رکا۔ اس نے خفگی سے دیکھا ،

“لیکن کیا؟”
اس کی ساری شرم ایک دم اڑنچھو ہو گئی۔
“لیکن یہ گال اتنے سرخ کیوں ہو رہے ہیں؟”
یہ کہہ کر وہ ہنسا، انا نے ہونٹ بھینچ کر اس کو دیکھا “مطلب کیا اس حالت میں بھی اس کو ہنسی مذاق سوجھ رہا تھا چچ……سو امیچور…..”
“سرخی پاؤڈر کا سنا ہے کبھی؟“
“ہاں سنا تو ہے لیکن اتنا تھوپا جاتا ہے، اس کا ہر گز نہیں پتا تھا۔”
وہ پھر سے شریر ہوا۔
“ہاں ، ہم تو تھوپتے ہیں کیونکہ یہ ہار سنگار ہمارے لیے ہیں۔ آپ نے کس خوشی میں فیشل کروایا ہے؟“
ابر و اچکاتے ہوئے اس نے پوچھا۔
“یہ….یہ تو آج کل……میرا مطلب ہے…..کہ محشتم نے کروایا ہے، بات ختم۔”
“اب ہکلاتے ہوئے کہا۔
ہاں ہم بھی سوچ رہے تھے کہ یہ آپ کو کیسے خیال آیا۔ اینی وے، اچھے لگ رہے ہیں آپ”
انا نے بحث ختم کرنا چاہی۔
اس نے جیب میں ہاتھ ڈال کر ایک ڈبیا نکالی۔
“یہ میری طرف سے۔”
پھر ڈبیا میں سے ایک خوب صورت انگوٹھی نکال کر پہناتے ہوئے کہنے لگا۔
“روایتی مردوں کی طرح میں یہ تو نہیں کہوں گا کہ تم میری ماں کی عزت کروگی ، کیونکہ وہ مجھے پتا ہے کہ تم کتنا کرتی ہو۔ بس تم خوش رہنا ، چاہے جیسے بھی حالات ہوں … میں تمہارے ساتھ ہوں یا نہیں لیکن تم خوش رہنا۔”
اس نے ہاتھ کھینچا۔
“یہ آپ کیسی باتیں کر رہے ہیں. ایسے اچانک……” وہ تھوڑی خوف زدہ ہو کر سنجیدہ ہوتے ہوئے د یکھ رہی تھی۔
“بھی…..میلو ڈرامہ کرنے میں کیا حرج ہے؟”
وہ ہنسا۔
