“میں اتنے دن سے تم سے بات کرنے کا موقع ڈھونڈ رہا تھا اور تم میرے گھر میں آنے کے بعد جانے کس کونے کھدرے ہیں چھپ جاتی تھیں۔ آج اتنی مشکل سے نظر آئی ہو۔ اپنا قصور پوچھ سکتا ہوں۔ مجھے کیوں ایوائیڈ کر رہی ہو۔”
اس نے دوستانہ انداز میں پوچھا۔
“آپ کا کوئی قصور نہیں، نہ ہی میں آپ سے ناراض ہوں۔ غصہ مجھے اجالا آپی پر ہے کتنی چالا کی سے انہوں نے اپنی بلا میرے سر منڈھ دی۔”
روشنی روہانسے انداز میں بولی تھی۔
“تم مجھے بلا کہہ رہی ہو؟“ اس نے بے چینی سے پوچھا۔ روشنی نے بوکھلا کر تیزی سے نفی میں گردن ہلائی۔
“میرا ہر گز یہ مطلب نہیں تھا۔”
اس نے صفائی دی
“پھر اپنا مطلب سمجھاؤ ناں روشنی۔ تمہیں اندازہ نہیں کہ میں یہ سوچ کر کتنا پریشان ہوں کہ مجھے تمہارے سر پر زبردستی مسلط کیا گیا ہے۔”
“ایسی کوئی بات نہیں ہے۔ آپ میں کس چیز کی کمی ہے جو آپ کو پر زبردستی مسلط کیے جانے کا خدشہ ستا رہا ہے۔ اصل میں وہ میں ہوں جو آپ کے قابل نہیں اور آپ بڑے ابا کے ڈر سے زبردستی اس رشتے پر راضی ہوئے ہیں۔”
روشنی کی آنکھیں چھلکتے کو بے تاب ہوئیں۔
“میں بڑے ابا کا اتنا مطیع و فرماں بردار ہوتا ناں تو اجالا کے لیے ہی ہاں کر دیتا ۔ سے اس سوچ کو تو ذہن سے جھٹک دو کہ مجھ پر کوئی زبردستی ہوتی ہے۔“
اس نے نرم لہجے میں اسے یقین دلایا۔
