“تم نے ایک بار کہا تھا کہ آپ شادی کر لینا۔ اور میں نے کہا تھا جب مجھے لگا کہ کسی کو میری ضرورت ہے تب میں شادی کر لوں گا “
“مجھے یہ گلٹ کھائے جاتا ہے کہ میں نے آپا کے حق پر۔۔”
وہ بات ادھوری چھوڑ گی۔ اس نے چونک کر اسے دیکھا۔
“کیا تم نے اسکی زندگی میں مجھ سے شادی کی ہے؟”
اس کے سوال پر وہ چونکی۔
“کیا مطلب؟”

“اگر تم نے اسکی زندگی میں ایسی حرکت کی ہوتی تو تمہارا یہ سوچنا بنتا تھا۔ اور ویسے بھی تم نے ابی جان کی بات مانی ہے۔ انہوں نے جس سے کہا تم نے اسی سے شادی کر لی۔
“ایسا ہی ہے نا؟”
اپنی بات کے آخر میں اس نے سوال کیا۔
“پھر تمہارا ایسی بات سوچنا بنتا ہی نہیں۔”
“کبھی کبھی ضروری نہیں کہ ہم جو پلین کریں ویسا ہی ہو۔ کچھ چیزیں اللہ نے پلین کی ہوتی ہیں۔ اور وہ یوں ہی اتنی ہی اچانک ہو جاتی ہیں کہ عقل دنگ رہ جاتی ہے۔ لیکن یقین کرو اس کی پلینگ میں سکون ہوتا ہے بے سکونی اور بے چینی نہیں۔ اگر تم اس پر یقین رکھتی ہو تو اپنے دل سے پوچھ کر بتاؤ کیا تمہارا دل بے چین ہے اس رشتے کے بعد ؟” اس کے سوال پر اس نے نظریں چرائیں۔
