“وہ آج آپ اٹھے نہیں اس لیے میں نے سوچا کہ آپ کو اٹھاروں۔ ساڑھے سات کا ٹائم ہو گیا ہے۔“ وہ
اس کے تیور دیکھ کر نظریں چرا گئی۔ اسے ایسا لگا جیسے کہ وہ کسی بہت بڑے جرم کا ارتکاب کر رہی
ہو۔ اسے فاز سے بات کرتے ہوئے ویسے بھی ڈر لگتا تھا کہ نہ جانے کب یہ شخص اسے آئینہ دکھانے کھڑا ہو جائے۔
“تمہیں یہ ذمہ داریاں نبھانے کی ضرورت نہیں ہے۔ میں اپنے وقت اور معمولات کا خود ذمہ دار ہوں اور ویسے بھی میرا اور تمہارا نکاح صرف کاغذ کی حد تک ہے اس سے زیادہ کی تم امید بھی مت رکھنا۔”
اس نے انگلی اٹھا کر خشمگیں نگاہوں سے گھورتے ہوئے اسے اوقات یاد دلادی۔
